From early Westerns to sitcoms to dramas, them damned single parents have been indoctrinating us!
That is, they are teaching us that caring for those who need us and doing what we have to do for kids' welfare are the right things, and have made for good entertainment as well as solid morals.
We'll have to ask the haters. We're not seeing the downside here.
